Moritz, the Alpine Marmot (Marmota marmota)
We hiked in the Alps yesterday and saw three playing marmots. These animals are so cute! With all the fur and fat you can't believe how quick they move until you see it.
I've had a marmot plush with me since I can remember and now he's put to paper - you can see that the tail is striped which is not common.
I tried pastels for this picture because my mum had a big case. I don't know if this medium is in my future again but it was fun to try.
